Giant is the worlds largest bicycle manufacturer who produce a diverse range of bikes designed to provide value for money. They also develop high quality racing bicycles such as those used by Team Columbia at major races including the Tour de France. Giant is a well respected brand and continues to receive awards for innovative design. Putney Cycles has been a Giant dealer for more than ten years and we are incredibly impressed by the amount of bike you get for your money. Specialized has been an established brand for over 30 years. The company started in 1974 as a US importer for Italian bicycle components and was the first to bring a mass produced mountain bike to the market, the well known Specialized Stumpjumper. Since then their bicycle designs have continued to innovate and the range boasts some of the best bicycles available from any brand today such as the Tarmac SL2 used by the Quickstep professional racing team.
